Another firework night spend at the McCann household, minus the catherine wheels this time.
Mama Hilary McCann got it spot on with her leek and potato soup, sausages for the meat eaters with amazing red onion marmalade and sticky toffee pudding or apple compote to finish it all off. Came home feeling slightly larger, and more content than when i left, so all in all, a very good evening spent in good company.
Sylvia Plath is taking over my life again. Its a good thing i absolutely love her.
