Theres been a lot going on the last coupla weeks, I literally drag myself home at 7pm off the train and Im absolutely shattered. HOW anyone does this every single day of their bloody lives, I dont even know. I dont even want to think about it actually, its far too depressing to think that one day Im actually going to be out of the education system and thrown right in to the world of employment (or UNemployment probably knowing my luck.) There will be no time for hangouts in Stroud, or baking, or reading a good ol' book. All I will know is WORK WORK WORK. This idea doesnt bode well for me. Id like a 3 day week thank you very much mr prime minister.
Ive only been in London for 1 week and 4 days to be exact and im already sick of the commute to work. Its just so frustrating being stuck under a sweaty mans armpit when all you want to do is lie on the floor and never get up. I also still havent quite mastered listening to my ipod whilst walking around, i know its not exactly multi tasking, but trying to listen to music, whilst finding my ticket, making sure no-one is stealing my purse or phone (Neason take note) and navigating my way around the tubes aint an easy conquest. Nu uh, no it isnt. But I just hate the silence, so I try to do all these things at once and suceed in looking like a complete tourist, fumbling around with all my crap and sweating like theres no tomorrow. As you can probably guess, I dont exactly look too gorgeous when I eventually get to the office.
On the plus side, Im going to Smoke and Mirrors tomorrow (http://www.smokeandmirrorsdesign.co.uk/) and Im not sure what im going to be doing, so Im excited about that one.
Cant wait to be back in the Shire, something I thought I would never say. But I miss home so much, its pretty lonely here when you dont know anyone.
Luckily Neason, Hannah and Nat were down for the week, so we met up and went to Soho, grabbed some sushi and hungout in Hyde Park til late. I was told by Neason that i was the best doormat ever, and i know it shouldnt be a compliment, but i took it as one anyway. She said this becasue she had a MASSIVE metal suitcase from work with belts and posh notebooks in, and she asked me to carry it, and me being me said yes. So there i am, middle of Soho lugging a great big tin box around with me. Not gunna lie, Neas appreciated it at lot, so I felt i had some good karma coming my way.
Gunna start my art summer work soon, really dont have a clue what Im supposed to be doing, I should have probably gone into the college for that last week, but whatever college sux ballz.
Just looking forward to Big Chill, and being home.
